Between

„Between” can connect, but it can also divide. It can be empty or full.
It speaks of space, time, distance, matter, and the relationships that exist between us. It is like a blanket—you can lie on it, wrap yourself in it, carry something with it, or stretch it. A ladybug may get tangled in it, you can hide your face in it, or use it to build a house, a shelter, or any other form your imagination creates. It provides warmth, embraces, protects, conceals, has holes and loops through which you can observe the world, and most importantly: there is room for everyone, just take a seat.
„Between” is also a reminder that among us are neurodivergent individuals. It refers to the spectrum, to its space-time construction, which accommodates all the characteristics of neurodiversity.
„Between” is a novel woven from the thoughts and words of teenage girls on the autism spectrum – participants of the KTA program in Lublin.
