Hello, my name is Karolina Jeske. I’m a freelance illustrator, living and working in Poznań, Poland.
I studied graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts. Drawing has always been and today still is a natural activity for me. It’s also a secure way to communicate with the world. As a child I was drawing for my parents. Being a mum now I am doing it for my children and for myself sometimes, of course. I’m also a designer decoration by profession. I was working on a library project some time ago and just then I realized that books couldn’t call for me any louder.
My first book that I co-authored Empty place at the table was published on December 2016. Now I’m currently working on my debut picturebook as both an author and an illustrator.
